MOVE THE PIN-BATTLE MODE! Students (1 or 2 on each side) battle each other to move the pin towards the other team’s side and knock it down on the last spot to win. Pin starts on white spot. Used for underhand throwing here but can be utilized with plenty of skills! #PhysEd

@deterball 3rd-5th but younger grades can do it as well. For them, I add in a 6 foot and 5 foot hoop as additional choices, so everyone can be successful.

@pohlnerpe Great activity! What grade levels is this best for in your experience?

BOARDGAME BASKETBALL !!!!
Watch the video for my set up and rules. My students lose their marbles over this super engaging, competitive team activity working on the set shot. #physed

@pohlnerpe Agree! This game has been a hit for years. Never gets old. We play it again around St. Patrick's Day using some fake gold coins in addition to the bean bags or yarn balls (definitely harder to pick up making it more challenging.)

Halloween Tagging Game. Definitely using this week. Check it out below!

MONSTER HOUSE!!! The perfect activity for today. My students absolutely love this tagging game. Take a look/listen to the video for how I organize it. A big thanks to @PESchoolYT for sharing the original! #PhysEd

@CoachCosgrove_ Basically Line Tag (all players, including tagger(s) must stay on floor lines) but if you get tagged, freeze and do the 6-7 hand gesture and call out “6-7!”. Classmate must come by dab you up to get you back in. Nothing incredibly creative but they were freaking out!!!

I’m pretty sure my students are going to freak out when they come into the gym and see today’s warm-up on the screen! #ifyoucantbeatemjoinem

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!!
