Spoke with President Trump. He told me the conflict should be over in days, not weeks but if no deal is made he’s blowing up the whole country with “very little” off the table. "If happens, it happens. And if it doesn't, we're blowing up the whole country,” he said. I asked if there’s anything off limits. “Very little,” he said.

again, I do not know who needs to hear it, but the XO on college football means absolutely nothing. It has no legal standing or authority to do the things it’s saying. We still need Congress to pass legislation.

@Jon29914867 There’s already been litigation, no? NCAA lost 9-0 at SCOTUS. It violates anti-trust law. It’s still trying to fight NIL via rule changes instead of working to pass nationwide legislation to regulate it.

the NCAA can burn the EO in a trash can in front of the building if it wants to. the NCAA doesn’t have to do shit. It’s an independent member institution non-profit. It’s not a part of the Dept of Education, or whatever’s left of it

UPDATE: Trump EO would be effective Aug. 1. It will not impact the basketball portal, sources tell @YahooSports. EO directs NCAA to update rules by Aug. 1 “to the maximum extent permitted by law to bring order and stability to the landscape in certain areas, including transfers.”
