New job, new office: Last week I joined @wadhamoxford (@UniofOxford) as a fellow and tutor in Modern History. I left Bremen with a very heavy heart and will miss students, colleagues and friends tremendously. But I'm also excited about what lies ahead: Hello colleagues in the UK!

The articles collect insights from the sources that are familiar to those working on the materials, but for which an historiography is lacking. Beyond this, they show the potential for uncovering non-official voices and experiences in the history of decolonisation.

@ECGHGradWrkshp It was such a pleasure presenting to an engaged and thoughtful audience. The questions asked demonstrated how brilliant my colleagues at Edinburgh are as they were able to engage with my work. Thanks once again Emma, Florian, Sam and the ECGH. It was worth the time!!

It was wonderful to have such a large & engaged audience at @r_engine's talk yesterday, and so many great conversations at the social! Big thanks to all who came! We also used the event to shop around for successors to our outgoing organisers - so expect some changes here soon!
