The large "Black Lives Matter All Year Round" mural at Lyndale and Lake has been buffed white. The second photo is from November 8th, 2020 and the third is two days later on the 10th.

@daviss Hey folks, original artist here. Some of the previous tags that have gone over this mural have been racially motivated (I'm not calling it beef), but more recently, a business owner there panicked and buffed it white. She apologized to me tho, and the rest is being sorted out now

@peoplepowerpod1 @FTPtwigs @taylr @daviss And the Phelps project never landed because of the lack of support from you and the Bryant Neighborhood Organization for the entirety of 2019, and I have a timeline of emails that can prove such. Also, that money was returned to the CURA folks so idk why I'm considered a crook

@FTPtwigs @taylr @daviss Reggie is also the artist who did the god awful gentrification mural at Funky Grits trying to tell a contradictory story of our community, which he stole the idea from me and whitewashed it. This contradiction led to fallout and Reggie never completing our project. He is scum.
