Annual update: #RavensFlock Forever 💜 New SZN and I got a little new addition to the flock, this year.

The Orion spacecraft successfully separated from the upper stage of the rocket, and the "proximity operations" test is underway. The Artemis II astronauts are manually piloting Orion similarly to how they would if they were docking with another spacecraft.

Liftoff!! I do hope the astronauts make it back to planet 🌍 safely. Also inspirational, @Astro_Christina being the first woman going to the moon!🤩

@mcbeth0943 Ahhhh it really does go so fast, why though. Hopefully we see our ravens win another 💍 by the time my youngest turns 7. 🤣

Our work on the @Space_Station has provided the foundation to explore further, preparing us to return humans to the Moon this week. Stay tuned as we enter the @NASAArtemis era! Expedition 74 will certainly be keeping a close watch. Godspeed, Artemis II!

I’m even more struck by the extraordinary diversity of colors and textures on our home planet after seeing it once again through only my helmet visor during last week’s spacewalk. Today’s #EarthArt highlight, the shades and shapes of South America as seen from the @Space_Station Cupola window – these coastlines, waves, terrain, and swirling currents caught my eye.
