By the way, Arteta has completely stripped MLS of his confidence, the same thing he did to Nwaneri. Young players get banished to the bench for months after a breakout spell where they looked like world beaters, then they lose confidence, and a section of the fanbase that backs everything the manager does says, “This is why Arteta didn’t start him.” Same pattern every time.
I just hope it doesn’t happen to Max Dowman too.
