after the bite, i think he became even more careful. not because he stopped being a child, but because he started feeling like he had to manage everyone’s feelings too. like apologising too much, trying not to be “difficult”, maybe learning to hide when he was hurting (pt3)

i imagine little Remus as a very quiet, observant kid. the type who noticed everything, remembered small details about people, and probably loved books because they were a place where he could just exist without anyone judging him (pt2)
