Slavery, cannibalism, and brutal warfare defined life in North America before the Crown established authority over these lands. Founding Canada to afford equal rights to all people was a good thing. I reject these new treaties because I reject UNDRIP's ethno-nationalism.

In my own life I've learned the only path toward understanding and peace, the only way to break hate, is breaking bread with those who hate us. Division gets us nowhere. Mark Carney knows that. He's a bridge builder for a better more progressive Canada.

I would urge officers in the US military to take even a shallow dive into the Nuremburg Tribunals where some dozen Nazi military leaders were found guilty of war crimes and executed for carrying out illegal orders. The defense I was following orders did not and does not work.
