Today, mothers are burying their children. Children are becoming orphans. Farmers are abandoning their farms. Communities are being displaced, businesses are collapsing, travelers are afraid to move from one town to another. Yet, many of those entrusted with the responsibility of protecting Nigerians continue to speak as if this tragedy has become normal. Let me state clearly and without ambiguity: insecurity has become the greatest threat to the unity, stability and prosperity of Nigeria. Every day we hear of another village attacked, another family kidnapped, another community displaced, another security officer killed in the line of duty. These are not mere statistics, these are human beings, these are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters whose lives have been cut short by criminals who appear to be operating with increasing boldness. We have lost brave military officers, experienced commanders and courageous soldiers who dedicated decades of their lives to defending this country, their sacrifices must not be in vain. To President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all elected leaders across Nigeria, we say respectfully but firmly: the time for promises has passed; the time for action is now. Nigerians are tired of condolences without solutions. Nigerians are tired of visiting attack sites after lives have already been lost. Nigerians are tired of hearing that security challenges are being addressed while communities continue to suffer repeated attacks. The government must demonstrate the same level of urgency it would demonstrate if these attacks were happening in the nation's highest corridors of power. We acknowledge the efforts of our armed forces, police, intelligence agencies and other security personnel. Many of them are risking their lives daily under difficult circumstances. However, those responsible for policy formulation and implementation must provide the leadership, resources, intelligence support and political will required to defeat these enemies of our nation. To those who say only God can solve Nigeria's insecurity, we say this: God has given leaders authority, resources, institutions and responsibilities. Prayer must be accompanied by action. Faith must be accompanied by commitment. Leadership must be accompanied by results. The insecurity confronting Nigeria is not insurmountable. Other nations have faced similar challenges and overcome them through strong political will, effective intelligence gathering, advanced technology, proper coordination among security agencies, protection of borders and the prosecution of criminal sponsors regardless of their influence. Why should Nigeria be different? Enough is enough. Enough of banditry. Enough of kidnapping. Enough of cattle rustling. Enough of Boko Haram terrorism. Enough of Lakurawa attacks. Enough of innocent blood being shed across our land. The Northern Comrades Movement of Nigeria wishes to put all levels of government on notice that Nigerians are watching. Citizens are becoming increasingly frustrated, and rightly so. We shall continue to mobilize public opinion, engage stakeholders, advocate reforms and demand accountability through every constitutional and democratic means available to us. We are not calling for excuses. We are calling for solutions. We are not demanding miracles. We are demanding leadership. We are not seeking sympathy. We are seeking action. History will judge every leader not by the speeches they delivered, but by the lives they protected. The blood of innocent Nigerians must not become a footnote in our national history. Let this press conference serve as a wake-up call to all those entrusted with public responsibility. The security of the people is non-negotiable. The safety of Nigerians must come first. May Allah protect our nation, comfort the families of victims, strengthen our security personnel and grant our leaders the wisdom and courage to do what is right. Thank you.

Dear beloved sports-loving Nigerian youths, After watching the performances of Davido, Burna Boy, and Rema at the opening of the 2026 World Cup—at a time when Nigeria, the giant of Africa, is absent—I felt a measure of consolation. This was reinforced by the fact that many Nigerians playing for clubs worldwide are representing other countries. Felix Nmecha, for instance, set a record by scoring the fastest goal at six minutes for Germany. I write to you therefore, knowing that this country belongs to you, the youth. You are more of stakeholders in Nigeria’s future than I am. I am 64 years old; by God’s grace, much of my journey is behind me, while yours lies ahead. It is therefore imperative that you rise to the challenge by obtaining your PVC, your most powerful tool for driving the change you desire. In the last three years alone, over 15 million Nigerians have turned 18—enough to decide who becomes President, Governor, Senator, Member of the House, or Local Government Chairman. Indeed, enough to shape the nation’s future. I know many of you are sceptical about politics and political parties. I understand why, but scepticism must not become surrender. You do not need to belong to any party or wait for anyone to organise you. Organise yourselves in your streets, campuses, communities, workplaces, churches, mosques, and social groups. Mobilise, debate, demand accountability, and take part in choosing those you wish to entrust with leadership. If you are organised and wish to hear directly from me, invite me. I will come and share my plans for you and our nation. Do not sit on the sidelines while others decide your future. I appeal to you to register and vote. Your vote can shape who becomes the next President of our country. My young friends, this is your country. Take it back. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Yesterday in Lagos, I joined my highly respected younger sister, @EstherUmoh10, and other Obidient like - @justinijeh @Mallam_jabeer @TheAjakeManger @samclaat and others at the ongoing PVC Registration Fitness Walk. Esther has done an incredible job mobilizing and inspiring young people from different backgrounds to participate in the PVC registration exercise. Her commitment to civic engagement and youth participation is truly commendable. She’s doing amazing work, and I’m proud of her efforts. Top babe! ✌🏽

The PVC Registration Party in Lagos was a huge success. Young Nigerians came together with one purpose, to get their PVCs and prepare to shape the future of our country. Your PVC is your power. Register, mobilize others and let's work towards the victory of the OK ticket and the Nigeria we deserve. 🇳🇬
