Before: Gut in chaos. Skin changing. 30 lbs heavier. After: New body. New life. The weight came off when I stopped fighting symptoms and started healing the root. Autoimmune reversal is real. 🧬

4/ I’d keep white rice if ketogenic macros weren’t possible yet. Rice is low-fiber, low-FODMAP, and easily digested. It’s a bridge, not a destination. Most IBD advice is generic. These steps are specific. And that’s the difference between surviving and thriving.

3/ I’d get collagen daily — bone broth, slow-cooked meat, gelatin. The gut lining is made of collagen. You can’t heal the intestinal wall without its raw materials.

The Netflix documentary repeats the tired myth that meat consumption in the U.S. is at an all-time high. In reality, 19th-century Americans ate far more meat than today—and they weren’t dropping dead of heart disease. Full breakdown: sameerdossani.net/blog/Netflix-v…

We need to talk about the term "extreme diets." Yesterday a nutritionist called her protocol - avoiding specific carbs like bread and oats to manage IBD but allowing others - "not extreme." It made me wonder: Is eating the way humans did for 500k years extreme? Or is insisting on keeping every ultra-processed "food" in the menu - despite the known health consequences - actually the extreme position? Maybe we’ve just normalized the wrong thing. What do you think? 🧵👇

I stopped eating "heart-healthy" oatmeal… and made a shocking discovery. Few people would knowingly pour a bowl of inflammation, anti-nutrients, and insulin-spiking sugar into their body every morning. But that’s what happens when we eat oats—the most toxic grain out there. Here’s why: • Highest in phytic acid of any grain • Contains avenin (a gluten-like lectin) • Spikes blood sugar & drives insulin resistance Oats aren’t health food. They’re marketing. Want to know which grains are actually safe? Drop 🌾 below and I’ll DM you my tier list.
