WeWork Gurugram has turned out to be a complete fraud for Indian startups. We paid 2 years’ rent in Oct 2024 for a virtual office (for GST registration in Haryana). Before payment, their team was calling 5 times a day to convince us to take the space. After payment? 7 months of silence. They gave us wrong & irrelevant documents — invoices, rental agreements & electricity bills — all with 3 different pin codes. GST registration is already hard in India, and they’ve made it worse.
