@RandBall I don't disagree that it's going to be tough to beat Denver, but I would argue there was plenty of "adrenaline" in game 5 on the other side of the ball. We'll see what happens at Target Center. I don't think their role players will be as efficient as they were on their home court

Hate to say it, but the depleted Wolves are in trouble. They played on adrenaline in Game 4. This game is the reality. Game 6 feels like it's gonna be their Game 7.

@squishpatel @whatsontapnba Also, he came back after 6 days if memory serves. No way Ant is coming back before two weeks at the earliest. I do agree, I don't think they are going or should let him do something that would damage his career.

Giannis Antetokounmpo still talks about how he still feels pain in his knee after immediately returning in the playoffs in 2021 from the same injury. I’m no doctor and am aware every situation is different, but Ant is 24. If there’s ANY risk that returning this postseason could jeopardize his knee’s comfort and health long term, it’s not worth it. Hopefully Minnesota monitors this with Ant’s long-term trajectory at the forefront.
Jon Krawczynski@JonKrawczynski

Everything I'm told, backed by what Chris Finch said to @PAOnTheMic this morning, is that Anthony Edwards fully intends to return to the playoffs at some point, if the Wolves can stay in the fight. If they advance, my gut says their next opponent will see him at some point.

@JonKrawczynski For sure, I think they’ve been more physical in the paint, they’ve also gotten the benefit of a playoff whistle because of it.

Nuggets have been light years better at keeping the Wolves from straight line drives to the rim tonight.

@JimPeteHoops Joker no doubt remembered the slam dunk that Jaden did at the end of Game 7 two years ago too. I didn’t think the relaxed layup was anything compared to that. But still there’s an imaturaty with this team that is always hanging around.

If you are going to intentionally foul not once but twice down 12 with 33 seconds...and shoot a 3 with 10.4 seconds (Murray could have dribbled the clock out)...you shouldn't be complaining about a layup at the end of the game. I'm just saying.

@HQNewsNow Why has the US handled the outbreak better than other countries dealing with a global measles outbreak under RFK? Answer: It's not because of his leadership, it's in spite of it. The reason for better handling is due to the U.S. vaccination rate being higher than other nations.

RFK Jr: The measles outbreak began in January 2025. Almost 90% of people affected are over 5 years old, so their decision not to vaccinate predated my... my... umm... my, uh, occupation of this seat

@saneman3000 @TPPSkol Kyler was clearly part of drama there, but that defense went from pretty solid (11th in pts allowed) to awful after the 2021-22 season. Injuries, bad trades, poor drafts, new coaches/system changes were a huge problem. New GMs are fine cutting guys from prev. regime.

@TPPSkol Post injury Kyler has been one of the worst QBs in the league. Why would the Cards bench and move on from him while also eating a bunch of money if he was good? This isn't hard to figure out.

It’s kinda funny when you see this stuff and look at the Vikings and Cardinals as a whole. Vikings - Good team bad QB Cardinals - Bad team good QB Does that mean Kyler is a perfect fit? No. Perfect isn’t the goal, it’s good enough. Last season good enough gets the team into the playoffs. Good enough in year 1 gives you a framework of whether or not it can be great in year 2 and beyond.
Evan Kaplan@EpKap

Kyler Murray has played in 87 games and he has 20,000+ pass yards & 3,000+ rush yards. Josh Allen and Cam Newton are the only other QBs all-time with those numbers through that point in their career. If Kyler's on the field (missed 21 games since 2023), he usually produces.

@JonKrawczynski @SGLambChops It feels like whenever Ant is fully engaged on defense the games feel totally different. Clearly, he always had the ball a lot, but with the lack of a true point guard, do you think his laxed defensive at times is due to even more responsibility on offense?

@PolymarketBlitz Doesn’t matter what anyone outside of that locker room thinks. They know him better than anyone else. I would think only playing three pro games in one and half seasons, a beating a great team on the road as a heavy underdog might get a guy like that a lot 🔥 amped up

This Vikings lockerroom video of JJ McCarthy is going VIRAL. Many are saying that McCarthy is clearly acting and it comes off fake and cringe. Thoughts?

@TheRealForno I don't think this is an easy throw for him right now-his rollouts floated on him all game. That said a high throw isn't trouble on that play - I think we'll see improvement on these plays soon whether he is a bit more decisive, trusting of the play and/or better touch.

When we talk about quick game/easy buttons, this is a perfect example, and it was a brilliant design J.J. McCarthy needs to pull the trigger here.

@SpencerHakimian Nobody is lying. They're spinning. One side believes their heading in the right direction and the other thinks these numbers are a sign of poor leadership. There's so much more context needed to debate the total issue-but it's not possible in a 3 minute interview or a social post

@SpencerHakimian This is the problem with politics/social media-they're debating 2 different things and don't know or choose to explain the nuance. Assuming graphic/Gronk's response to a comment below are accurate-Chicago is atop when compared to most populous cities but not in top 30 per capita.
