jeanne moreau was directed by malle, antonioni, duras, fassbinder, truffaut, buñuel, welles, richardson, godard, demy, renoir, wenders & herself. she was one of the absolute greats. nobody walks as good on film as jeanne. <3

barbara hammer’s "exit interview" is a poignant, crushing read. she's one of the first filmmakers to receive acclaim for her work made as a lesbian, often (mostly) about lesbians. radical, pioneering, brilliant barbara. newyorker.com/culture/the-ne…
