At @seadcsf, @myeepsf youth interns were the stars of their #SummerLearningWeek show. They lead field trips, taught engineering principles through fun, interactive projects, hosted a lemonade stand to teach business & math concepts, and hosted a wellness fair.

@TNDC We are grateful for DPH’s support, and community partners like Tenderloin Neighborhood Corporation and their Food Justice Leaders program. Thank you, Southeast Asian Health Ambassadors and Food Justice Leaders, for doing your part to make the Tenderloin Community healthier!

Our Health Ambassadors had their final event. They collaborated with the TNDC (@TNDC) Food Justice Leaders on a food sampling in front of Dalda’s. They used produce from Dalda’s to make healthy fruit salads that they gave out to community members and shared food resources.

Last week, volunteers from Bank of America led a workshop on Money Management for our MYEEP program. Youth engaged in their own budget planning and asked questions about credit, interest, debt, and taxes. We appreciate them helping educate our youth on these important topics!

Join community partners for a collaborative Eid Celebration on Saturday, 7/1 from 10AM-4PM at Tenderloin Recreation Center & Playground. Eid al-Adha is one of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam, bringing together the Muslim community for festive gatherings.

Join us, the Tenderloin @cyc_sf, & @seadcsf for our Tenderloin safety & cultural event on Saturday, 6/3 from 11AM-3PM at Tenderloin Rec Center. Residents can explore resources offered by CBOs, along w/ activities/performances such as bingo, a lion dance, soccer, games & more!

We are partnering up with CYC and SF Parks and Recs to bring our community together this Saturday. We are inviting the community to come and safely celebrate Lao, Thai, and Khmer New Years' while learning about resources. The event is free as well as free food, music and more!

For AAPI Heritage Month, SEADC invited the Southeast Asian Community members and organizations to come together at our center on May 5th. Community members came to learn more about each other's culture, share food, and, most importantly, came to enjoy each other's company.

Help us reach our goal of 20 dental hygiene kits by donating the items listed in the post! Our community has demonstrated a high need for dental hygiene resources, the Health Ambassadors want to hold another kit giveaway. You can drop the items off at the location provided.

On April 29th, SEADC and other community organizations organized an event for Eid with the Tenderloin community. The event included free food, activities, and live puppet shows for the kids. Over 300 people attended the event including the District 5 supervisor, Dean Preston.

On April 28th, we celebrated 46 years of serving our community at our annual gala: A Celebration of hope, resilience, and transformation. We thank all who have supported us throughout these years and we look forward for many more to come.
