@steveschoger @tailwindcss Love your tailwindcolor.com palette but have noticed that it's a little out of date, specifically for sky blue. Any plans to update?

I hate to toot my own horn but @tailwindcss's color palette is quite nice and I find it very easy to work with 😎

A low point in 2011 was when I made a small fix and tweeted from @googlereader about it: twitter.com/googlereader/s…. I was told by Vic Gundotra (via a marketing person) that I cannot do that anymore, lest users get the impression that Reader is still actively being worked on.

Every 18 months practitioners in your field have to tear itself apart online with a stupid purity test about who is allowed to lead. I’m sorry. I don’t make the rules. If I did I would replace it with a rule that says “Don’t make a rule. It depends on the person and situation”.

@hotdogsladies We do need some sort of public certification for this privilege. “No, it’s not weird look at my driver’s license. I’m a C-class certified baby holder. And a donor.”

@gavinpurcell Years ago I was a youth minister in college, it pains me that there wasn’t something harmless to send my kids to when they were in high school. It was either religious or “you’re on your own”. Communities form around hobbies and sports but it’s not quite the same.

@shellen Yep couldn't agree more. That's exactly what kind of led me to this. And the timing. It's been thousands of years of training to make Sunday into something.

Does anyone else wish there was a version of church without the church? Like a collective people of group you share some interest with & saw every Sunday morning for coffee & doughnut holes and listened to some interesting talk.

@gavinpurcell I’ve been thing about this for 20 years. It feels needed. Some shared purpose for good would be nice too. I think church people believe unchurched folks don’t like church and it’s mostly all the other things. Humans crave connection. Why not have a place to connect?
