Hi all, This is my final tweet as athletic director for SKSD. This position is being eliminated as part of wider district budget cuts. D.J. Sigurdson will take over the duties of AD as of July 1. It's been an honor to serve the SK community and I'm sad to be leaving. Go Wolves!

Drew Halili finishes 17th at the state 4A golf tournament in Spokane, highest of any SPSL participant. Noah Gould finishes 43rd, Sam Canton 69th.

A shoutout to a neighbor to our north. I'm working at the state 3A girls golf tournament in Lacey and @CKHSCougars Brittany Kwon shot 67 in today's first round. Most scores not in yet but shes 16 shots ahead of her nearest competitor right now. An impressive performance, for sure

Spring football starts next week. If you're interested, stop by the athletic office to get paperwork, then plan on picking up gear on Thursday, May 23 2:15-3:15 in the boys locker room. Come be part of the SK Football Renaissance!

Finally, the boys golf team is in Spokane for the state golf tournament that tees off tomorrow morning. I'll have updates after the first round finishes tomorrow afternoon.

The track team ran in the WCD meet in Sumner last weekend. 17 athletes qualified for the state meet this Thursday, Friday, Saturday at Mt Tahoma HS.

Catching up on last weekends post season action. The fastpitch team competed in the WCD tournament on Saturday in Kent. Sadly, the team lost both games and were eliminated from post season play.

The WCD 4A fastpitch tournament has been postponed for today. It will be played on the same schedule on Saturday/ Sunday.

Good day for boys golf. They take 2nd at the WCD tournament, qualifying for the state tournament next week in Spokane. Senior Drew Halili was the individual champion, cruising to a 6 stroke victory in the 124 player event. A truly impressive performances by Drew!

Good finish for boys and girls track teams in the SPSL championship meet today. Both finish 2nd, boys to Oly (by 2 points) and girls to Curtis. WCD meet next weekend at Sumner Stadium.

Tough loss, but a great season for the boys lacrosse team in just the 4th season of its existence. Well done, fellas!
