Embracing a commitment to self-improvement, I dedicated December to auditing contests. Thrilled to share that I clinched the 13🏅 spot in the @superformxyz contest! Gratitude to @cantinaxyz for this incredible journey and valuable experience. 2024 is gonna be huge! 🚀

@CardilloSamuel How's the energy consumption in this bad boy? Is the bill high if running local inference often?

in the past month, in the world of local ai, i have: 1) been helping companies migrate to local ai by lending freely access to my hardware & knowledge so they can try it out & adopt it ; 2) helped many users transition from openclaw to hermes agent to taste real agentic ai harness and not some vibe coded bullshit ; 3) contributed to the llm oss community by finetuning different models, one of them being a MoE version of @kaiostephens carnice (huggingface.co/samuelcardillo…) so it can be used easily on unified memory hardware ; 4) probably used more electricity than someone who grow weed industrially let see what else can be done!

this little box has been serving qwen3.5 35b a3b with my own distillation to hermes agents via vllm to few companies basically, since my last tweet about how most consultants are absolute bozos who just install claude, overcharge and then disappear, i’ve got tons of traction so i took it upon myself - despite intense hours on crismon desert - to help out. i asked each companies that reached out to me: take a task you want an ai to accomplish for your company and define how private are the information it’ll need to handle. based on that, we take a decision and i help then understand why that is - so they get the thought process they can reapply for each of their use cases then, i deploy an hermes agent plugged to my spark so they can experience what a fully private personal assistant can do for them - and if they like it, they can buy their own spark and move the inference to it i have been doing this FOR FREE since the past 2 weeks, literally using my own time and electricity to spread the good word and fix the bullshit from all those failed ai experts that just pivoted in the industry out of nowhere.

I wonder if anyone in Warsaw would like to purchase this preconfigured, preoptimised and heavily benchmarked rig. I can give a full spec sheet, including all the models it can run, as well as all the thousands of benchmarks I’ve ran. I can also custom configure it for you

GLM-5.1 shut my ZAI usage up so much, it's such a good model. huge leap for them even between this and GLM-5 It can run for hours without needing nudging, first open model IMO that hits this

💡BONUS: > I wanted to have a remote AI assistant that can help me stay productive when I'm away from my computer. > But honestly I didn't want to run something like OpenClaw that will eat my RAM with things I don't need. > The answer? nanobot🐈. Very lightweight and more than enough. Its responsive, has preinstalled tools and chrons. I plugged my GLM 5.1 here as well and I'm very happy with the results so far. And all of this with a single 80$ subscription

What I use now: > OpenCode: big shutout because they provide free models and its an amazing harness. But both Zen and Go plans are NOT worth it for heavy coders. I bought some Zen credits and as soon as I started coding with GLM they burnt fast. Go: didnt try but reviews say its not for heavy usage > Factory Droid: better harness than Claude code, allows to plug any model, amazing results so far. > Z.ai 80$ plan as llm provider = plugged my API key to Droid. Gives you access to GLM models and honestly it feels the same as when I started using Claude Code. You can do heavy coding without worrying. > GLM 5.1. Honestly amazing model. None can beat Claude Opus in terms of Intelligence but still very smart and capable and ideal for agentic flows.

After the recent changes I left Claude Code . Here's why > Very expensive models > Silently downgraded by Anthrophic to match their real subscription cost > Still 100$/month to be left with a product that runs out of tokens in no time > Closed source, not "aligned" or any other bs and adding more and more restrictive policies. If you feel the same and looking for an alternative this is for you👇

Should Claude Mythos be publicly available? According to them if they do so it would be catastrophe, so they created a private program where only some chosen ones will be able to access it. But at the same time they are creating a new world of elites and just common people🤔
solthodox.eth@solthodox

Antrophic decided to make their new model Claude Mythos closed because they say it's "too dangerous". From what I could read they made this new model iterate over old battle tested code and it found critical bugs that were hidden, for a very low cost.

@0xSero And don't you think it's a big constraint? I have been using Opus for a long time but won't to transition to other models and I can't imagine myself coding with that window now

No one has been able to knock this one off my GPUs, I am genuinely extremely satisfied with this. Best local model I have so far.

decided to rent 8x H100 to train qwen3-coder-next with an opus4.6 reasoning dataset (the same used for the qwen3.5 distillation). let see how it goes!

Pretty upset with Claude Code usage limits. Token subsidies are running out and reality is revealing itself: I willpay 100 euros per month to do a few big prompts. Iw as really happy with Opus but no way I will pay 100 for this or even 200.

Yesterday'ss claude code leak was a victory for open source. And will force them to make a way better product instead of the slop they have now. Rust port, NOW!

i dont know about u but gemini for UI and claude for coding has been my way to play around and build poc. Claude with teammates is more than enough to any crazy task, but @solthodox convinced me to use GSD, its cool, take a lot of time start to finish, I would between 1h to 3h.
