🇳🇬 JUST IN: Sowore Confronts Umahi at FCT Police Command Over Detention of Woman in ₦250m Civil Dispute Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore today stormed the Nigeria Police Force FCT Command in Abuja, where he confronted David Umahi over the arrest and continued detention of a married woman, TracyNither Nicolas Ohiri, in what is essentially a ₦250 million civil claim said to be over 12 years old. Ohiri was reportedly arrested in Lagos on allegations of “cyberbullying,” flown to Abuja and held in custody, while police operatives facilitated a closed-door session that allegedly allowed the minister to threaten and denigrate her inside the command until Sowore’s arrival forced an abrupt end to the meeting. Sowore himself was also harassed at the command by A. A. Ibrahim, the Abuja-based SAN notorious for paying his associates peanuts, with reports that some earned as little as ₦10,000 monthly. Despite Umahi’s exit from the facility, police reportedly refused to grant the woman bail, amid claims he vowed on his way out that she “had not seen anything yet.”
