I see the earth and all the hurt, from afar, glaciers melt and cloud my mind, I sit along my river and touch the cold water to somehow heal all of this

The long night walk nears an end I have reached the water And find in the intimacy of the waves As they roll in from distant shores A sea as familiar and as unknown As the touch of a new sun upon my skin

It’s the comfort of structure, the reassurance of boundaries, the safety that allows me to soften without breaking. And in that softness, I find a deeper kind of strength.

The end of a decade leaks dramaturgy, sends cascades of heavy memories falling down mountains. Sins and regrets drown in fashion, sink with a passionate splash, in torrents of never again.
