@Alphyyyyyyyy Thank you!
Though funnily enough, this would be like the 5th time I reach 1k. Can't seem to keep the number up. It's the bots I swear,,

Backrooms discussion going around recently and I still stand by my original opinion.
Imo, the liminal aspect of the Backrooms should be the main focus, while also touching upon themes of nostalgia, melancholy and uncanny valley. Generic horror entities take away from that vibe.

Random rant Backrooms entities are so generic and out of place. Weird black batería monster? Doesn't make sense for it to be in an office area. Why not some kind of box ghost?? Retro cleaning robots???
English

@Alphyyyyyyyy Huh, I never thought of it that way but it would definitely fit with the idea of memory. It would also give the backrooms a whole different meaning to everything feeling off.

@Alphyyyyyyyy Oooh that's an interesting headcanon. It does make me wonder how the backrooms came to be.
My own headcanon is that it's a manifestation or representation of human memory of sorts. We remember a whole lot but we aren't capable of remembering the fine details for everything.
English

@sylvoid sure that'd be neat, I have a headcanon about the entities, I think since the backrooms is supposedly a place that tries to replicate our world's buildings and does it poorly, maybe it's the same deal with humans? idk maybe it's trying to also replicate us but also fails at it.
English

@Alphyyyyyyyy Truth be told I'd love to see entities that fit within their respective areas in the backrooms, people, things or ideas lost in it instead of just monsters.
I haven't kept up with Kane's interpretation of the backrooms, but I am looking forward to the film.
