Iirc the reason the Revive looks the way it does is because it's based off of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's version of the Gundam instead of being a 1:1 of Okawara's design sheets Yas draws the Gundam a bit slimmer than Okawara, while the original HG is closer to the latter in proportion
