It's called democracy, free speech get used to it. You don't seem to care about the millions the Rowntree Trust and George Soros have pumped into left-wing propaganda outlets. Plus public sector financing for 'Hope Not Hate', Stonewall & others. The real aim of the New Authoritarian Left is to restrict the capacity of its opponents through legal intervention to compete on a level playing field. Hence your government's new Islamophobia blasphemy definition and restrictions on donations non-resident UK citizens can make (whilst leaving Labour's funding streams untouched).

The 'Extreme Far Left'/'Far Right' have in the context of now, in my opinion as a liberal, have effectively fused into a Third Way authoritarian mush. They do not own their illiberal politics in the way the old 20th century totalitarians did. They deny being anti-democratic but want ever more powers transferred to non-accountable bodies like the EU and judges interpreting 'human rights' law. plus, ever more controls over what we can say.

@darrengrimes Why do you dignify such people with the complimentary term 'liberal'? These people are fellow travellers for the totalitarianism of Trotskyites and Islamists. Referring to them as liberal only serves to make them politically respectable.

The absolute state of the London liberal. Here we have a woman, likely a member of the "educated" elite, clutching a "Stop Bombing Iran" sign. She’s confronted by an Iranian woman—someone who has actually lived under the thumb of that regime, someone who has been imprisoned by them, someone who cannot even return to visit her father's grave. Does the protester listen? Does she pause to consider the reality of the "regime" she’s indirectly defending? Of course not. She offers a vacant, condescending smirk. It is a perfect distillation of the modern Left: prioritising performative virtue and anti-Western slogans over the lived reality of the very people they claim to care about. They’d rather side with a theocratic, oppressive regime than admit that the bad guys aren’t those in the West. Total and utter woke vapidness.

The 'queering', Green faction of the emerging New Left coalition we saw yesterday provides the totalitarian Islamist and Trotskyite components with much needed cover re the white middle classes in Cambridge, Brighton and so on. Classic popular frontism. This is why useful idiot Quakers and Anglican types were supporting the march alongside Islamists carrying Iranian regime flags and one-party-state Trots.

It's great, from a strategic perspective, that the Islamo-Fasc-Left coalition is now becoming semi-formalised and outing itself. Now is the time for trad, democratic left-wingers, conservatives and real liberals to form a popular front for western civilisation. No to the new barbarianism!

Polanski all of the people prancing about in this embarrassing performance would either be hanged or, at best, tortured and imprisoned if they did this in Iran. Yet, yesterday, the Greens and other middle class leftists were happy to march alongside Islamists carrying the flag of the Iranian regime. The Muslim Association of Britain, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, were one of the main bodies supporting the event.

Well, well, well… Yesterday we were told half a million people took to the streets in the “largest anti-far right march in British history.” The truth? It was the same well-funded, well-organised left-wing machine that shows up every single time, trade unions, NGOs, Stand Up To Racism, Palestine groups, and dozens of compromised Labour MPs all bussed in, paid for, and choreographed to create the illusion of mass public support. Here they are, every single one of them compromised: Zarah Sultana, Stella Creasy, Dawn Butler, John McDonnell, Richard Burgon, Rebecca Long Bailey, Nadia Whittome, Apsana Begum, Bell Ribeiro-Addy, Clive Lewis, Ian Lavery, Paula Barker, Kim Johnson, Mary Kelly Foy, Peter Dowd, Rachael Maskell, Olivia Blake, Ian Byrne, Grahame Morris, Lee Barron, Elaine Orr Stewart, Dr Simon Opher, Chris Hinchcliff, Brian Leishman, Cat Eccles, Peter Lamb, Richard Quigley, Steve Witherden… plus Plaid Cymru’s Liz Saville Roberts and Independent Iqbal Mohamed. Every last one of them stood on those platforms yesterday pretending to speak for “the people” while their own constituencies rot under grooming scandals, knife crime, mass immigration, and economic decline. These are not principled politicians. These are career activists and establishment mouthpieces who only ever turn out when the script says “attack the native working class and call them far right.” They don’t represent Britain. They represent the machine that has spent years betraying Britain. And yesterday they all crawled out of the same swamp together, waving the same flags, chanting the same slogans, funded by the same networks. This is just a teaser. As the day unfolds, we’re going to expose every single one of these great new faces, their dirty pasts, their secrets, and exactly how they’ve been destroying England. They’ve just served themselves up on a silver platter. The British public sees you clearly now. You are not the voice of the people. You are the voice of the people who hate the people. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

@narindertweets According to the cops there were only 50k. And why is it news that Trots, Islamists, supporters of the Iranian regime and other neo-fascists got together and marched about to no purpose? Other than to remind the British people how insane and sinister they all are?

Given the contemporary, mainstream left-wing parties (with a few individual Labour exceptions) are now dominated by a freakish ideology, better voters can see clearly what they really stand for. I wouldn't like to be a Labour or Green candidate in a classic Red Wall seat like Darlington. People have a sense of objective reality and decency in such places, unlike inner London, Brighton, Bristol and so on.

In a liberal democracy the streets, public space, don't 'belong' to you or any one political faction. But then, the Greens support Bristol Brownshirts going door to door intimidating local residents into supporting boycott campaigns against Jewish businesses. The Green party under its current leadership is a proto-totalitarian movement. Hence, you marched alonside Islamists yesterday.

The real neo-fascists today are on the left: anti-free speech, in bed with Islamists, working to destroy our traditional civil liberties such as trial by jury, ID cards, for 2 tier-'justice', transferring law making power from Parliament to unelected judges both domestically and internationally ...

As an outsider to the Labour movement, I would suggest that the traditional working class don't just see the bourgeois New Left as pushing irrelevant causes such as trans but as a force that is deeply antipathetical to its own interest. Hence the contemporary left's obsession with open borders, Net Zero and the EU Single Market. Then there is the conflation of patriotism and traditional attitudes with aggressively expressed claims of 'racism' and being 'heteronormative'. Many working class people do still vote but not for Labour, let alone the Greens or Lib Dems.

Can the Left march for victory while losing the working class? There is a speech circulating in left-wing circles in Dublin that ought to unsettle every socialist in Britain. Not the kind of unsettling that produces a conference resolution or a letter to the Guardian. The kind that keeps you awake at three in the morning. The kind that names something you have half-known for years but lacked the honesty, or the courage, to say aloud. It raises the question nobody on the British left seems willing to answer. While tens of thousands march through London holding the correct signs and saying the correct words, something else is happening quietly across the country. In places like Scunthorpe, Middlesbrough, Grimsby, and dozens of towns that built the Labour movement, people are not marching. They are not voting. They are not listening anymore. The biggest political story in Britain is not Reform, the Conservatives, or even Labour. The biggest political story is the slow, quiet withdrawal of the working class from politics altogether. For years, the left has traded solidarity for signalling, class for culture, and real communities for applause from people who already agree. It talks endlessly about representation, but less and less about wages, housing, industry, energy, or the material conditions people actually live in. The truth is uncomfortable but simple. The left did not just lose the working class. It slowly stopped being a working-class movement and became a liberal one instead. Somewhere along the way, the movement founded by trade unionists, miners, dockers, engineers and factory workers became a movement of graduates, professionals, NGOs and think tanks. It stopped organising in communities and started marching in cities. It stopped building power and started performing virtue. It stopped listening and started instructing. The working class hasn’t disappeared. It hasn’t turned fascist. It hasn’t forgotten its interests. It just stopped listening to a left that stopped listening first. The left did not lose the working class overnight. It lost them slowly, through a thousand small decisions, each one dressed up as progress. And if the left cannot reconnect with the people it was created to represent, it will continue to march in London, trend online, win arguments at dinner parties, and lose the country. Watch the speech. Read the full article here. 👇 labourheartlands.com/marching-for-v… #TheLeft #TogetherMarch #ClassWar

And while tens of thousands of anti-racists marched in London, Mark Collett and Patriotic Alternative managed to muster, well, a couple of dozen nazis in Nuneaton where they were demonstrating against 'mass immigration'. But it was not an altogether unevenful occasion: before it even got started eight members of the neo-nazi Aryan Front who had turned up were arrested and whisked away. And then, half an hour after muster time, Collett was having trouble getting half of his own supporters out of the pub. But never mind, it was a least a joyful reunion for that happy threesome of Collett, Laura Towler and her recently-released jailbird husband, Sam Melia. @uaf @AntiRacismDay

@MInthenow70635 There were a lot of flags of the women & gay hating Iranian regime on the 'ant-fascist' march! O, and the Trotskyite SWP were one of the organising groups. They want a one party state. That's quite fascistic, isn't it?

What the far left radicalised nut jobs actually mean when they say they're 'protesting against the far right' is that they're protesting against normal white working class Brits with very legitimate concerns about the state of their country. They're actually protesting against people choosing sensible centrist politics over their dangerous and bigoted far left extremism. They're also protesting against Jews and anyone who stands with them. They are the most vile, hateful and bigoted people in the country.
