I have a very different take on what AI can and will be doing. See, honestly, all of us fear what it might do to our jobs, etc. And I get it. But today I'll be a hypocrite and say: what if it's here to help us not work 8-10 hours a day, and instead ease that down to 3-4 hours? Think about it optimistically. > Engineers' work that took a whole day to code a feature can be eased down to a few hours. > Copies and marketing assets can be created within a few minutes, be it your graphics, writeups, lineups, titles, etc. > and many many more things Now, where the real issue comes is when AI can work autonomously; that is, when it doesn't need human interference. And that's AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) which essentially is human-like intelligence. This is what most frontier companies have been aiming for for years. Will we get there or not? That isn't a question to answer now, but rather for later. But with what's happening currently, the best we could do is optimistically utilize the amount of time in our hands by doing a bunch of side projects and interests, and increase our range of skills. Honestly, this is my take.
