@GustavoM3nd3z @DavyKettei He sounded weird in Japanese too, which is odd because Jun'ichi Suwabe is usually an elite seiyuu. Something's a little off with the direction in both dubs and I have to wonder if it's intentional.

@DavyKettei I didn't like the voice actor for that glasses guy at the end.

@TommySledge I saw them live a few years ago. Mark McGrath was pretty funny, cracking jokes about how they should have known about self-fulfilling prophecies when they called their final hit “When It’s Over” and stuff like that. They’re just living their best lives now and that’s awesome.

Back in ’99, I was a radio promo kid at KISS-FM in Dallas and Sugar Ray did an autograph signing at CD Warehouse on Greenville Avenue Afterward, we all walked out back … and next door at Condoms To Go (because of course we did) 😄 Couple of us dumb radio kids are just standing there, wide-eyed, taking it all in and out of nowhere, Mark McGrath turns around and goes: “Get whatever you want, guys … it’s on me” I’ll defend Sugar Ray till the day I die 🤝
