@NigAffairs @woye1 But we are aware that the governor is in charge of the party. Why is Badaru trying to dabaru the arrangement?

BREAKING: President Tinubu holds separate closed-door meetings with former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and former Minister of Defence, Badaru Abubakar
Badaru, a former governor of Jigawa State and ex-minister of defence, has been in a running battle with Governor Namadi over APC's structure in Jigawa. This battle led to the dropping of Badaru's nominee, Bashir Gumel, as the APC National Financial Secretary with Governor Namadi nominating another person to take over the role.
Badaru has also been rumoured to be considering a defection to the ADC, but the former governor has denied any plans to do so.
Ganduje, on the other hand, is expected to remain in the APC as the former governor and former APC National Chairman has no plans to defect to the ADC coalition.
Ganduje is also expected to nominate the next deputy governor of Kano State following the resignation of Aminu Gwarzo, with his preferred candidate rumoured to be Murtala Garo but there are rumours that the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Jibrin Fagore, might also be interested in the seat.

Today, I turn a year older. And every year on this day, I reflect on something far bigger than me.
For a long time, I believed luck was something that just happens to you. Then I realised, luck can be engineered. Opportunity can be democratised.
Hope is not just a feeling; it is a system we can build.

Meet Seyi.
Salary: ₦500k/month.
He dated Funmi for a year before proposing.
The proposal was beautiful.
Elegant.
Thoughtful.
She said yes.
But Seyi felt the wedding had to be bigger.
He already had ₦5.5M saved.
Still… he felt he needed to top the proposal and make the wedding a talk of the town for years to come.
So he borrowed ₦4.5M to make it ₦10M.
Decor.
Aso-ebi.
Live band.
Luxury hall.
Professional MC.
Drone cameras.
The wedding was indeed the talk of the town.
Instagram loved it.
Twitter loved it.
Guests said:
“Best wedding this year.”
Two years later…
The marriage ended.
But the ₦4.5M loan is still active.
Every month, Seyi is still paying for a wedding
to a woman who is no longer his wife.
This is one of the most expensive mistakes young people make.
Borrowing money for a one day event.
Not for a business.
Not for an investment.
Just for impressions.
A wedding lasts one day.
The loan can last years.
Don’t be like Seyi.
Cut your coat according to your size.
Because the people you are trying to impress
will forget your wedding by next week.
But the bank will never forget the loan.

Good morning my fellow Data learners.
Some people suggested creating a WhatsApp group for this so we can learn together and help each other grow.
Do you think it's a good idea?
Comment YES if you'd join.

I’m restarting my Excel for Data Analysis journey from the beginning Not because I don't know anything, but because I want to document everything and share my notes with fellow beginners If you're learning Excel, let’s grow together. My fellow Aspiring Data analysts are we in?

As a man, one thing to learn from this Davido and Sophia’s case is that you need to be very careful who you go raw with. If you’re going raw with a woman you don’t see a future with, or you know you’re not ready to have a baby yet, make sure you have morning-after pills at home, and she must take it. Every young man should always have this at home.
Let her know she’d have to take it even before having anything with her. Only go raw after she’s agreed.
That 15 minute pleasure can give you a really stressed life tomorrow, a lot of successful men have everything in this world but still have no peace and go through long lasting pain just because of the woman they once shared the bed with.
Don’t let the ephemeral pleasure ruin your life.

@alexottiofr Kaii, Short man with doings!! Sometimes I wish I was an Abian. Keep going papa❤️

Today, history was made in Abam Onyerubi as we commissioned two landmark projects: the New Omenuko Bridge over the Igwu River and the 30-kilometre Ndi Okereke Abam, Okobo, Amuvi Arochukwu Road. The commissioning was performed by the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Onyeabor Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd.), who turned 70 years old today. We wish him a memorable birthday in good health and God’s continued blessings. These projects stand as a testament to our collective resilience and the determination of our administration to end decades of neglect and usher in a new era of prosperity.
For years, the old Omenuko Bridge symbolised pain and loss, with families mourning loved ones who perished due to its structural failures. Today, we honour their memory and declare that deceit and failed promises shall never again define leadership in Abia. The commissioning is not just about infrastructure. It is about restoring dignity, hope, and safety to our people. And with the completion of the road, too, the age-old cliché that “there is no easy road to Arochukwu” has been abolished forever.
The nightmare of collapsed roads and broken bridges is over. Farmers can now move their produce to markets, students can travel safely to schools, and communities once cut off by fear and frustration are reconnected. The siege has collapsed, the jinx is broken, and Abam and Arochukwu stand tall as beacons of what is possible when leadership aligns with the aspirations of the people.
This is the dawn of a new Abia, one built on truth, progress, and shared destiny. Together, we have proven that our future is not bound by neglect but is shaped by our collective will. Abia has seen the light, and never again shall darkness cover our path.
