As wages decouple from productivity and machines handle more and more work, capital becomes the main way to secure economic agency. UAE is one of the best places on Earth for this right now because of zero personal income tax, zero capital gains tax, and zero dividend tax for individuals. Your gains compound fully without tax drag.

HOLY SHIT. The Wikipedia expose on HAF just confirmed what many Hindus have been saying for YEARS. A tiny network of leftie activist editors hijacked pages related to Hindus, Hindutva, caste, and India and turned Wikipedia into a propaganda machine. They have smeared Hindu organizations as “extremist,” “nationalist,” and “fascist adjacent” while sanitizing and protecting activist groups openly hostile to Hindus. And the scariest part? This garbage doesn’t stay on Wikipedia. It gets fed into Google searches, media narratives, academia, AI systems, and public perception worldwide. A handful of anonymous editors can effectively shape how BILLIONS of people understand Hindus and India. People mocked Hindus for warning about coordinated information warfare. Turns out they were right.

The more you learn about Hollywood the more evil you realize it is, and the less worried about AI you are. The amount of creative gatekeeping is insane. The amount of control is insane. Bring on the AI art. Bring on the AI anime, movies, and series. We're going to have a supernova of creative content. Not the sanitized, committee-approved garbage we have today. For those that remember the Golden Age of the anime OVA, we're going to get that. No more gatekeepers. No more ratings agencies. No more big business. Totally uncensored and creatively liberated storytelling.

Wealth used to follow geography, it then shifted to the best education. Now? It follows curiosity. The most curious person in any room is the most valuable person in any room.

A sovereign wealth fund of $100 billion by GoI, but getting most of the capital from private sector by incentivizing Indian companies to invest in it for India's future can solve this issue of funding requirements by our deeptech cos & innovators. IMO, it is the need of the hour.

@BeingParthPatel Yeah. A sovereign wealth fund to fund such critical areas by GoI is important.

By "logistics" I mean the design of systems that are created to solve practical problems originating from the complexity of reality, that become so abstracted that they themselves become a source of complexity, and become as unassailable to the human mind as reality itself is
𝐒𝐕𝐕𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐃@SVVVAYED

The Backrooms is about the fear of logistics. This is too subtle a concept to be translated into a movie, so A24 decided to hire a writer to dumb it down enough for mass appeal

India has sent 96 people to America who started billion dollar companies. No one else is even close. There's only about 5 million Indians in America. Almost one in 50,000 of them is a unicorn founder! What a holy, special, beautiful people. I will always fight for them.

Storyboarding is time intensive and can be dull as shit. AI is an obvious way to make it faster and less cumbersome. Real artists will use AI for those processes that are like that. Fake artists will insist the boring parts are the artistic process, because they are not creatives
Culture Crave 🍿@CultureCrave

Martin Scorsese is now a partner and advisor for a generative AI startup He says he's using AI during preproduction to help storyboard projects “I’m interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling, and seeing how that can push the bounds of creativity to create deeper and richer experiences for audiences ... cinema is a young medium ... we have to be open to how it can evolve" (via @nytimes)

What's this guy talking about? The wells we see in backyard of Indian homes, the brick houses, the bullock carts, the rangoli, the co-existence with wild animals, the bangles, the pottery, the toys, the ditches on the side of roads, the use of millet, the textiles - so much hasn't changed in India since Harappan times. Perhaps no other civilization has such an unchanged continuous history for some 7000+ years preserving itself and its dangerous wild animals as well. If a Harappan time travels to present day India, he will instantly feel at home. Albeit scoff at the bad sanitation and cleanliness of our modern towns, I am sure.
