Nilimtumainia Mungu na kuamini kwamba ataniinulia watu wa kumsaidia mwanangu kusimama tena. Mimi ni single mother na kutokana na changamoto za kimaisha nilirudi kwa wazazi wangu Uru, japo hawana uwezo wa kunisaidia lakini walinitia moyo na kuniombea. Nilihangaika maeneo mbalimbali kuomba msaada bila mafanikio. Nilikaribia kukata tamaa kuona mwanangu anakua mlemavu nami sina jinsi ya kumsaidia. Lakini nikapata msaada wa TZS 600,000/= kupitia kikundi cha “Sadaka Yetu” nikampeleka mtoto hospitali ya Mawenzi. Baada ya vipimo aligundulika kuwa na tatizo liitwalo Tibia vara (Blount’s disease) yaani ukuaji usio wa kawaida wa sahani ya tibia inayosababisha mfupa kupinda kwa ndani. Walinipa rufaa kwenda CCBRT kwa matibabu zaidi. Akajitokeza msamaria mwema mmoja ambaye alinichukua mimi na mtoto kwenda CCBRT Dar. Madaktari walishauri ili mwanangu aweze kusimama tena anahitaji operesheni 4 yaani mbili kila mguu. Kila operesheni itagharimu kiasi cha TZS 1.2M hivyo jumla ni 4.8M. Namshukuru msamaria aliyenitoa Moshi alilipia gharama za operesheni moja. Sasa imesalia operesheni moja kwenye mguu aliofanyiwa, na operesheni mbili kwa mguu mwingine. Jumla ya gharama zinazohitajika ni 3.6M. Naomba Watanzania wanisaidie ili kumuokoa mwanangu na ulemavu. Nimeambiwa akikamilisha operesheni hizi atakuwa na uwezo wa kutembea tena. Our Masjid, @epicmasjid, offers free basic healthcare to anyone who walks in, and we fund it ourselves, while our doctors volunteer their time. Yet, even this act of basic humanity is turned around and used to weaponize anti-Muslim sentiment.
