We’ve designed and built our first AI chip: Jalapeño.
Designed from the ground up by OpenAI and brought to production with @Broadcom, Jalapeño is purpose-built for the LLM workloads powering ChatGPT, Codex, the API, and future agentic products.
Chips are foundational to the AI economy. Building our own expands our full-stack platform from products to models to infrastructure, and will help us scale intelligence, serve more people, and expand access to AI.

10,187 Codex threads later...
One thing I've learned is that context management can become an issue if you are not proactive w thread management
I create thread sync files and handoff files for everything now and typically create skills based on things I learn throughout my daily sessions
Curious how everyone else is managing threads
Also curious if anyone else has crossed 10k threads?

So important @ben_ai_eng ! @Alpha10six and I were just talking about the importance of time off. (Don't meant my wip). Yesterday I took the liberty of doing near zero work. Gotta let the gray matter take a step back every now and then. I just joined a gym to let off steam between burns 💀Work hard play hard

A month ago I had ~400 followers.
Today I crossed 500.
The funny thing is the post that brought most of them wasn't about AI.
It was about not being in San Francisco.
Apparently a lot of people are trying to build from places nobody talks about.
Interesting to think about.
Appreciate everyone that is following along.

for tons & tons of ppl the daily ritual of work used to begin by opening email, slack, teams, jira, etc while sipping coffee.
but today it often begins by simply opening claude or codex (& they aren’t even great at proactive elements in these yet).
that sounds like a small behavioral shift but when did the front door of a huge part of the economy change this quickly??

when something goes viral, you capture the moment.
@OpenAIDevs billboards went viral this week and I helped them amplify the moment through a user-led strategy that turned making your own Codex billboard into a trend.
submit yours and vote on yours favs!
I also work with startups on activations and creating viral moments. dms open to work with me:)

Putting an AI agent inside your browser is backwards.
In 2026, the better pattern is putting your browser inside the agent.
Logged-in context, normal device, no shady 3rd party MCP, and no chrome extension that burns all your tokens from screenshotting everything it's trying to do.
Now your agent can actually help with real tasks like LinkedIn research, screenshots, links, and structured notes.
Browser-in-agent > agent-in-browser.
