It depends on the size of your jaw opening & the configuration & health of your teeth & jaw bone. Any gag that is made of a hard material is not safe 4 long periods of time. Soft cloth or scarf cleave gag or over the mouth gags are safest w/a small strip of duct tape coming close 2nd.
