The BBC’s Jeremy Bowen even said the hospital was “totally flattened” It turned out, the hospital car park was hit with a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket. This misinformation blaming Israel set the Middle East on fire. Calls for the death of Israel were heard across multiple countries. Embassies attacked. An ancient synagogue in Tunisia was desecrated. Global antisemitism sky rocketed. It wasn’t until all of that damage was done that the BBC and Jeremy Bowen admitted they got it wrong.
