I know I keep sharing a lot of fundraising posts for Lilya but they're a multiply disabled trans Indigenous friend who is in an abusive situation and trying to survive while waiting on an SSI approval. Being able to help a little sometimes can make a big difference.

@epballou I was SUCH a must follow all rules all the time extreme as a kid that I was given awards for being the easiest kid for all the adults around me so frequently. I *remember* starting to question this and it was because I was given contradictory rules.

Lilya has been fighting a lot for keeping basic needs met while going through the SSI application process in a hostile situation which requires long distance travel for routine care and its really rough. We need to help each other survive.

Good news Update! Help that is hopefully enough to last to find another job came has through! There's a lot of people who aren't getting a living wage currently and hopefully others get relief for at least a while too.

My PCA was laid off from his other job last year and hasn't been able to find another job in part because I've been struggling with my chronic illnesses (primarily the combination of adrenal insufficiency and MCAS) and have been needing a lot of support for my safety.

Because disability support workers are not paid enough, and we're not given the hours we need for support, this means supporting me is not enough income to pay for basic living expenses - and this is critical for me to have.
