Can confirm, big news: Council Speaker Julie Menin will join Mamdani in calling tomorrow for a billion dollar tax hike on hedge funds/major law firms, rolling back some of a tax cut that was enacted by Cuomo during Trump 1. Menin had resisted any calls for tax increases and is a Hochul ally.
