RESOLVED: Internet access has been restored to the campus and now appears stable. If you have any further internet access issues, please contact the Help Desk.

The campus currently has no access to the internet due to a widespread outage at our Internet Service Provider, SEGRA. Phone service is still available at this time.

ISSUES WITH CAMPUS PHONES: We're experiencing an issue with some campus phones this morning. TSD is already looking into the issue. We will update as soon as we get additional information.

ISSUE RESOLVED: Microsoft corrected issues causing the problems accessing Microsoft 365 yesterday. You should now have full access to 365 through your usca.edu account. If you continue to experience issues with this please contact the Help Desk for assistance.

Cable TV service to B&E building is currently unavailable due to damage to the cable line sustained from ongoing renovations in the building. TSD has been in touch with Breezeline and we're working with them to schedule the repair. Will update as we get additional information.

So, if you usually sign into office.com to access Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, or other web-based Office apps, you may not currently be able to do that. Microsoft is working this as a larger issue and we're waiting to receive more information on the issue.

We're part of a larger issue with some of Microsoft's 365 infrastructure this morning resulting in some or all of us being unable to access most of Office 365 from the web.

B&E 238A will be closed until 8am Monday. It is being used for practice rounds and overflow for this week's eSports Tournament on campus. Please use the computers in the Library and Science 100 if needed until then.

This morning, USC Aiken representatives met with our partners from the SC National Guard for the grand opening of our Security Operation Center (SOC). The SOC will give our students the hands-on experience and education they need to help defend our country from cyber-attacks.

UNSCHEDULED OUTAGE: Internet access to Columbia down   Issues connecting to sites and services on the Columbia campus. Other internet access appears to be functioning correctly. TSD is working the situation and notifying the Columbia campus and Segra (our ISP). @USCAiken

Internet access is currently restored. It is possible access may again drop sporadically while further repairs are made. We will update again as soon as we have an official resolution from Serga. @USCAiken
