A lot of people will be mad at those protesting students without stopping to ask them what they’re upset about in the first place, which is unfortunate.

There will be news stories about that tonight. Right now I’m gonna cover the game. But those students are protesting racism. And they have more than enough evidence to back up their case. But I’m covering the game right now.

That’s how nonviolent protests work. You pick times and places where people will see you. But, again, I’m gonna cover the game right now.

As a @tennalum I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED in this response. Perhaps so much so that I will rethink giving to the @UTKnoxville fund. As an attorney and a person with access to @Google I know that hate speech is not protected in the constitution. #failed
