In a @utclsu project led by Dr. Kazemian, students developed an innovative system for the insertion of discontinuous vertical reinforcement into 3D-printed beams. This will enable the automated construction of concrete structures without manual reinforcement installation.

@ArkansasState hosted the Tran-SET's latest summit on "Transportation Materials - Innovation and durability", chaired by Dr. Hossain. 150 participants from 7 different countries joined the summit where presentations on topics related to paving asphalt, and concrete were held.

@LSU and @NavajoTech are co-hosting a transportation summit sponsored by Tran-SET on Nov 16. Three guest speakers will share their experience and a STEM activity will be organized. Hybrid attendance is available. More details are given in the flyer below. Hope to see you there!
