@LSXYZ9 @mommydoer may be asking for too much but will there be an uncut version?
English

@mommydoer it's coming very soon. Editor actually spent the time to go through and do cuts to the 17 hours lol and we're making the google doc w/ power points for the champs.

This is fascinating. now I need to think of other champions with hidden things like this. Below is a long post on enchanters/supports/items and how certain things violate game design but people don't see it as such.
I've said for years that Ivern might be the best champion in the game , not because of my affinity for the champion, but rather because he fundamentally violates the balance of his class due to the intended balance of the classes items and acquisition of experience.
For people that don't understand what I mean by the above or haven't seen me discuss it before I'll explain a bit about how the support class and its subset of archetypes function, as well as the balance surrounding their items -
Support items are intentionally cheap because the class isn't supposed to be able to generate a lot of gold and thus can't acquire many of them and especially not quickly, but also their power level is often fine when not all fully combined, which supports usually at most get 2 items in a game. Often times when Enchanters start appearing in other roles, and building enchanter items or warden items, Riot is quick to bring in changes to them to move them back to support (karma/lulu/sera/etc top/mid/adc). In addition to this the fundamental skill-point-scaling on a lot of support champions is also balanced around the fact that they get less exp and thus obtain less levels and/or are underleveled in the game.
Ivern violates and breaks all of the above paragraph.
Since he exists as the perceived only enchanter jungler (Taric jungle also has existed and also won't be picked, in addition to being able to flex him), he is able to achieve not only the gold for the items, but also the levels part and isn't punished for it.
As an aside the above point is also true for why certain tank champions also being able to build 'enchanter'/'warden' from the Jungle or even top lane also violates fundamental game balance (like Malphite or when tank junglers starting doing redemption/solari copying inspired once upon a time)
For some reason Riot decided a while ago to give him giga buffs by making E refresh and also giving allies the brush damage, this opened up a world of imbalanced combos and added hundreds of damage to his teamfighting, but also directly countering one of ivern's old weaknesses (range/poke).
Ivern still loses in isolation to zone-control champions (Viktor/Anivia/etc) as an overarching theme as he can't "reach" them, but given how his abilities work he enables the direct counter of theme to flourish at above a level they're normally able to do with a traditional support champion (this is because of Q, and also why Seraphine is such a steroid for some divers due to her R). This combined with modern itemization makes him violate fundamental balance of the game, and he's one of the few champions ever historically to do this in the last decade. (Think cc immune Rengar, or old Camille or even release Zeri to an extent, or post-buffs Skarner beating able to beat tank shredders and have higher DPS than even adcs).
His base levels per-point aren't balanced, his itemization combinations aren't balanced, and the things he fundamentally suffocates and enables is wrong. He's the most current day broken champion that exists in the game and yet he is virtually absent entirely from pro play world wide because a lot of his benefits are a lot of intangibles and don't provide the same kind of dopamine. He's perceived as unfun, unique and boring and teammates also don't like controlled natures of gameplay when that's where he flourishes (and he only flourishes if you are willing to tap into all his offerings for various teamcomps). The champion is currently four-way flex for sure, yet only ever seen in the jungle. He is obviously by no means any auto-win, but given his malleability in draft and ability to answer so many different archetypes, it is nothing short of befuddling as to how he faces so much neglect.
Looking closely at items and their intended classes and then comparing them to champions who do/can/should/might buy them is a very powerful way to potentially find new things and should be sought after more. The issue however is that most people can't interpret precisely what they're reading when referring to patch note changes or how it plays into things in a practical sense, and so the meta only changes one elite players boredom at a time, not because of innovation or intellectual expenditure utilized at current problems.

@LSXYZ9 Did a deep dive into OTPs in Masters+ S16 NA/EU recently and found out that across all champions, Ivern has the highest WR among people who play him without being OTPs in high elo Same signal, really interesting
