Qualities I look for in a spiritual teacher: Full head of hair No depression No digestive issues Fairly stable and alive personality Well off or at least not poverty Humor and light heartedness Less than 3 major public crashouts More conservative than leftist Doesn't believe in dual cultivation Is pro religion for the masses Skilled in a handful of nonspiritual domains Cultivates body/energy stuff for years before mind stuff Doesn't cross pollinate too liberally with other systems Sees psychological development as a prerequisite but different to spiritual development Doesn't actually care for fitting this list, he just teaches his own thing

@soulmeaning Yeah. Ego inflation and it's opposite, lack of inner direction 'spritual bones' - seem to be the two major ones but there are a few others.

@soulmeaning Ah but the Shamanic journeys are the real integration. Yes he had no supervision which is why it was so dangerous. He was also divinely protected for this mission of which he chose pre-incarnation. It was still earth shattering.

@waves_from Are you referring to the RedBook materials? The Red Book describes his shamanic journeys- not really dedicated shadow work, which is similar, but different. There was no supervision back then. He was a pioneer, a mystic, on his own. He followed his inner calling.

Yes, people do have their own personal demons. Jung spoke about this. He called it shadow and he said shadow is where we exile the parts of ourselves we don't like very much. Everyone can do their own shadow work and bring those parts into the light of consciousness.

love bombing is only toxic when the person doing it doesn't actually love you and is only with you for personal gains of some sort. Otherwise its something that should go both ways and is normal in a healthy relationship 🤷‍♀️ when its genuine, its not "love bombing", its just love.
