every time i get recommended a book, its almost always first person and its one of the reasons i dont read fiction novels. fanfics (especially ship fics) conditioned me to read in third person and i just wish more published books were third person because of it😭
why are fanfics so often written in third person but modern fiction is first person?

Tbh I think gens 1 and 2 are both pretty unplayable if you have no nostalgia for them. Thats not to say there is anything wrong with enjoying them, but they are clearly flawed games that aged very poorly.
