London is Buzzin'! Its green and white everywhere! Honored to welcome the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and the First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu at London Stansted Airport, for the Historic State Visit of the President and First Lady to the United Kingdom on the invitation of King Charles III. The last Presidential State Visit to UK was in 1989, by President Ibrahim Babangida and Mrs Maryam Babangida. The King's Colour's Squadron of the Royal Air Force is in position on the Airport Apron as he alights from the the Nigerian Air Force Aircraft.

@Ojukwu_Bianca You can't welcome someone to a place where you are also a guest. By the way, it is utterly insensitive of you all to go partying when your home is on fire, when your home is bleeding. But then, it may be a mistake to expect decency and nobility from some people. SHAME

@Ojukwu_Bianca Over 30 Nigerians blown to smithereens just a night ago - hopefully Tinubu will atleast honor them with a statement from his London suite jacuzzi Imagine, it was in UK, will @Keir_Starmer travel to another country with his entourage regardless to another country

@Ojukwu_Bianca You noticed the green in London but you failed to notice the blood red at home? You noticed the fake applause and laughter in foreign land, you failed to acknowledge the wailing and agony back home. At the end, where will you be remembered, your blood red home or foreign land?

@Ojukwu_Bianca Why do y'all keep reminding us of the last presidential visit? How does it help with any of the life-threatening problems troubling the common Nigerian right now? Just how? Who on earth tries to solve problems with aesthetics and numbers-brandishing? Why?

@Ojukwu_Bianca London really showing out 🇳🇬💚 A historic moment indeed—Nigeria well represented on the global stage. Respect to the legacy since 1989, and hoping this visit brings tangible outcomes beyond the ceremony.

@Ojukwu_Bianca There is no light , no hospital care, no drinking water, bad roads everywhere, no employment, no SME, yet this is what you people are busy doing in London, wasting tax payers money, wasting crude oil money. What a shame

@Ojukwu_Bianca 1989 called, and it wants its economic stability back. Comparing this visit to Babangida’s era is a choice, especially when the exchange rate today makes a trip to London a pipe dream for 99% of Nigerians. The "King’s Colour" doesn't change the color of the hardship at home. 🙄

There is nothing to celebrate when terror still defines life for many Nigerians. A government that cannot secure its own people should be more careful about celebrating foreign honours. Public officials ought to show sensitivity to the pain Nigerians are carrying. You have completely lost touch with reality.

@Ojukwu_Bianca I seen this and just shook my head. Politicians flying all the way from Nigeria to welcome another politician abroad. What kind of mindset is this? I’ve never seen Western politicians travel to Africa just to welcome one man like this. Shame.
