devs, which one is best for overall performance? linux or windows

Oh bro you like opening cans of worms! Honestly I'm more concerned about where the best tooling lives and imo that's windoze unfortunately, even if it has bloat and lots of commented out code from Windows 3.1 and God knows what else. Maybe it has just been too long since I gave the LAMP stack a fair shake?
