I think I have captured his essence he was uncompromisingly committed and refused to follow trends which narrowed his options but I always supported him whenever I could 😂

I joked that he was the organ grinder and I was the monkey 🐵🤣 Imagine some Irish pub in South London on a week day and me throwing Vogueing moves with serious drunks looking on.. Shameless I know But cherished memories just the same 🤭

It was another world people were so cool 😎 Entertainment was where you found it.. So different from today were everything is curated and Influencers approved 😒 Where is the spirit? The innocence The joy And failures

Also London had very popular Pirate radio stations pumping out the best tunes most time by climbing on the roof of Estates to get the best signal while being chased by police.. no mobile phones so Raves parties and underground nights were advertised to the listeners 😎

So everything happened locally and it was easy to just go to say Undertow or Pendragon in a warehouse and really party.. Coming from Paris where everyone was snobby boring and pretentious it was an awakening .. Of course the Es and Whizz always cheap to keep the party going 🪩

The Internet didn't liberate us by promoting the homogenisation and erasure of indigenous Cultures then replacing it with a corporate culture inferior in every way but accessible to all no real effort required just conformity at a lower cost We are the Consumed not the Customers
