Honestly I feel like the difference between Tomodachi Life on the 3DS vs the switch is similar to Animal Crossing.
More focus on customizing your world at the cost of some of the little things that made the 3DS games really special.

@akirafries @wii4586 They eliminated time travel from the game functions, but people did it by changing their switch dates. Just like people are already hacking and breaking into LTD before it’s even been released. People do what they want. But both games are meant to be played over time.
