Unironically I wouldn’t mind seeing all of the marathon guns come into destiny. Same engine so I can’t imagine transfering the models would be THAT hard plus having a ton of brand new looking guns is always preferred over recycling a destiny gun model for the billionth time.

Yeah this is the question. You can design content that is visually, mechanically and thematically interesting but if you're completely wiping out players' vaults rapidly you're looking at potentially fractional participation. When...you already need more players

yeah okay in case it wasn't clear before, my position on this is that it's a good thing to do. Not for Bungie, but it paints a more complete picture of the game for readers. It's a live game, and this will be its biggest addition for at least its entire first season
