The players cited an increase in generalized harassment and xenophobia directed toward the Russian community following recent controversies, as well as dissatisfaction with the Demonlist's site maintenance and policies. In a public statement on X, player Vorten explained that recent events have escalated into "outright, widespread harassment" against unassociated Russian players, leading several community members to leave the English-speaking platform due to ethnic discrimination.
