Williams was a borderline liability v Oxford last weekend, need him to step up today. Pressure building a little on Schmid, needs a good game. Keshi Anderson fully deserving of another start. Shaughy presumably doesn’t have 2 games a week in him.

@IanDarke The worst decision was that he did not show the 2nd yellow to the Oxford left back. Ogilvie’s red was understandable if not obvious.

On further review , have to admit that Conor Ogilvie’s challenge was wild and poor for Pompey v Oxford. Ref could have said yellow for ‘ reckless’ but decided red for ‘ excessive force endangering an opponent’. Made game harder for himself. But appeal will fail.

@refsupportuk Is there a reason so many refs at this level are visibly overweight? How can they be expected to make big decisions correctly when they are busy getting air into their lungs? It is a lack of discipline from the individual or low fitness standards from PGMOL?

The last time a referee had a performance that bad at Fratton Park he ended up being outed as a nonce and is now a deliveroo driver btw.

Thank you for sucking the life out of our club, thank you for backing our manager in January with loans from mid table league one sides, thank you for selling our best players then putting the transfer fees in your own pocket. Thank you for not supporting the academy in the 10 years you've owned us. Thank you for not backing the women's team as they also face relegation. Thank you for doing the bare minimum required into fixing our stadium and filling it with plywood. You'll be pleased to know we're back in league one now. You won't have to spend any more money, seals will still suck your dick and they'll be lots of free transfers from league 2 and the conference. Once again. @Pompey The restraint that players have to not shout at the ref, accuse them of cheating and even wanting to give them a smack is very impressive. This won’t be why we get relegated, but the ref has cheated us today. Not necessarily with our red but not sending their man off was a joke

@Pompey Great start. Dubious decision from the ref but we’d be screaming for a red if it was against us. Will be hard to keep this going for the whole game. Still think there’s another goal in it for us. 11v11 it would be game over already I reckon. Caballero and Anderson both excellent.
