Arc Raiders needs a PVE only mode.

@LancesEmporium The whole point of this genre is you dont know who wants to kill you or not and that's what makes the gameplay exciting. You should feel like you need to watch ur back, you should feel like bringing out a crazy good kit is risky. Any change to combat would make the game stale.

Players in ARC Raiders recently are reporting that the ABMM in the game seems "broken", especially after Updates. But it seems that not having full friendly lobbies, or lobbies where you can always expect friendly interactions, is simply not wanted by the developers. It is also not planned to do any sort of PvE only mode. In an interview the Production Director said this: Even in those servers, I hope they don't feel fully safe. I guess that's the real quote here. Players shouldn't feel fully safe. There's always Arc in their way. We never promised that they will be on full friendly lobbies. And humans, right? They can sometimes surprise you, backstab you, or abuse your generosity. There's all of that that we want to keep existing in this game. So finding a complete break where it's only PvE is probably something we don't want to explore at the moment, because we want you to not feel safe.

GAMEPLAY: - Fixed an issue where two Trigger ’Nades would sometimes deal three times the damage when detonated next to each other. - Fixed an issue that would cause items to not be used as soon as possible when holding fire and swapping to them. - Fixed an issue where weapons and items would fire automatically. - Fixed a shoulder swap issue where the camera would stay only on one side. - Fixed an exploit where an anvil splitter could be used without the penalty for dispersion. - Barricades can no longer be placed on Ziplines. MAPS: - Fixed an issue where players could get set on fire outside of the locked room in Medical Research on Stella Montis. - Fixed a spot on Stella Montis where players could be shot through the floor. - Fixed an issue where some staircases were missing in Buried City. - Fixed some instances where the code printer could not be interacted with during Locked Gate. ### CLOSE SCRUTINY: - Changed the movement speed for Rocketeers and Vaporizers so they don’t behave strangely while idling. - Fixed an issue where reconnected players would not see Assessor platforms correctly. - Fixed an issue where Vaporizers would get stuck when getting close to an Assessor. - Fixed an issue that would prevent an Assessor from flying back into orbit. Fixed an issue where breach platforms could break on an Assessor when spamming the Breach & Search prompts preventing it from returning to orbit. - All ARC summoned by the Assessor will now correctly leave the area and despawn if they remain idle for a long time. - Pinging an Assessor in the map screen now correctly reflects the actual location. - Fixed an issue where players could get stuck when jumping from one platform to another on an Assessor. - Fixed a spot in Buried City where an Assessor and a Probe could land in the same spot. OTHER: - Fixed an issue where the weapon upgrade UI would show incorrect upgrade tiers. - Fixed an issue that caused fully transparent helmet visors. - Fixed some instances where certain visual effects could cause crashes. We are continuing to investigate all cases that cause crashes.

If you have adhd obviously you won’t read this but for those who don’t I wanna make a couple things clear, even though it is personal and shouldn’t matter I don’t care id rather you guys who follow me kinda know how I feel. First I never supported or endorsed any candidate. I’m not “maga” that literally sounds like a meme but I’m not that so don’t call me it or spread that I am it’s just not true. I’m also not a “libtard”. Second, I’ve seen multiple celebrities, famous people etc endorse different candidates and no matter who it is there’s always comments from people saying they’re “disappointed” or insulting them for liking that candidate. Why would you be disappointed in someone else’s choice for president? A person you don’t know? That makes you not a fan? That makes you not like somebody? Any person I know could tell me they’re voting for either side I wouldn’t give a fuck. & that’s people I know personally, so imagine being “disappointed” in an actor? Or whoever. I don’t know I might be chronically online at this point and maybe most normal people in the world not commenting on things don’t think so strongly. I just wish we lived without so much divide. This is why I hate politics and what it does to people. The anger and the division happening in real time over this election is disturbing. I don’t know how people will react no matter who wins. I wish we all cared more about the country itself than these candidates. Maybe one day it won’t be this negative. Maybe I’m too optimistic.
