k-media plays a big role in trying to drag BTS down. These are the few comments of Koreans (not sure if they’re k-ARMYs) under a JTBC report of BTS in Tampa about their roads being closed for a week for BTS, they’re criticizing k-media.

@amlysbang the locals are already starting to be a bit pushy towards us. the key part is to have civil conversations with the community. don’t just try to “push.” it won’t work and might gave the locals a bad taste in their mouth.

Good hype on TL about Gr@mmys but we can’t move like this everyday. we need to be a bit more smart & less biased on TL & other platforms. and mostly need your attention span to NOT shift. shift away from “THIS DESERVES A GRAMMY” posts and start building real conversation around Arirang: production choices, cultural intent, lyrical meaning, the why behind decisions. make people think, not just agree. ask questions, open threads, let others add their interpretations so it feels like a space, not a broadcast. DONT DOOM post or bomb spaces like reddit. two posts a day is fine and leave it to marinate. stay non biased and casual in these spaces. let people talk shit. & create discussion pockets here and on other platforms like ig, tiktok, even comments sections where the album keeps getting unpacked from different angles. when the conversation is alive the narrative grows on its own. and we need these analytical educated conversations going on all year round. so smartmys we need you to analyse every single detail. EDITMYS. please i beg of you to NOT promote other artists for a while through BTS edits. use arirang. we need to look back at how some nominations were actually driven from tiktok hype 👀 iykyk. please promote arirang songs through tiktok & IG. if you guys have TT & IG, go aim for hits. post about tour & make all clips go viral ! We need to bag AMAs to make noise around the voting committee. i think there’s huge power in coming back after a hiatus and immediately snatching 3 awards in the US. lastly we are not trying to shove Arirang down people or convince anyone. we are creating narrative and that’s not forcing. and no fighting with pop accs here. make use of your platforms.

In all honesty Commercial success + critical acclaim is rare. But an album that achieves both while carrying cultural weight? That’s even rarer and that,my friends, is exactly why ARIRANG deserves to be in the GRAMMY AOTY conversation.

army twt didn't talk much about it but last swim segment featured this amazing monk. She was a chef at culinary wars cooking competition. Finding out that she only survived her liver disease cause she started eating clean and made her own meals. She's amazing. #KEEPSWIMMING
