- Can be seen in ~50% of AFM cases!
- Dorsal pontine involvement = characteristic MRI feature
- Brain abnormalities do NOT exclude a diagnosis of AFM in patients w/typical presentation

Does earlier return to school after concussion help with recovery? Children who returned to school earlier (<3 days post-injury) had less symptoms at 2 weeks post-injury. This was true even in children who had higher symptom scores initially. @CVaughan523
