And now you see why America refused to call slavery the greatest crime against humanity, because the racism against Black people is an ongoing crime here. No mobster is going to admit to the coordinated nature of their attacks.

Hey dumb ass 1870-black men legally gained the right to vote 1920-black women legally gained the right to vote Black women and men faced suppression until 1965 The Voting Rights Act of 1965 used to stop states from playing games with voting laws. -Now states can change the rules first and deal with lawsuits later.

Oh? Y'all thought fascism was playing? You thought white supremacy was playing? WHY do you think DEI was dismantled? Why do you think they don't want history taught? WHAT did you think MAGA meant? What did you think Project 2025 meant? It *ALWAYS* meant Jim Crow.

Speaking of gerrymandering, have you heard of prison gerrymandering? White Republicans use incarcerated people to be counted by the census as residents of the town the PRISON is located in rather than their home communities. This increases their political representation and FUNDING for those districts while incarcerated people themselves cannot vote. What you allow to happen to incarcerated people will happen to you.

Ya know, growing up in the South in the ‘60s and ‘70s, one thing I would not have predicted is the dismantling of the Civil Rights era in the interest of “fairness” to white people. A lot of good people bled and died for those gains.

in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you're innocent in the story you created.
