That’s why I believe forgiveness is pure bullshit, it doesn’t erase the pain. It does nothing for either party involved, you’re both gonna have to go to the grave knowing that it wasn’t meant to be.

I am fine initiating. I’m okay being the one to reach out or ask to hang out. But if you - never reach out in return equally - keep saying no and don’t bother offering to reschedule - keep saying you want to but never actually plan to we can still be friends. I'll still care about you, but I will stop putting in as much effort toward the relationship and allocate it elsewhere. And you can too. It's okay. Sometimes that's just how it has to be.
